My Story
Meet 10 year old Bernie. Bernie had 2 moms that were sisters. One sister died and the other sister had to move into an assisted living facility. That left Bernie living on his own for awhile until a good neighbor called Suncoast Basset Rescue to help him. While with his foster mom, Bernie has had some major dental work done and has also been neutered. He had a portion of his tail amputated due to an ugly mass on it. Bernie’s foster mom says he’s such a good boy, he’s super sweet and definitely pretty spry for 10 years old. He gets along great with his foster sibling so he would do well in a home with another dog and he gets along well with cats. Bernie’s favorite thing to do is hang out in the backyard. He knows how to use a doggie door too. Bernie is now clear for adoption. If you would like to adopt Bernie fill out an adoption application.
