My Story
My name is Booker. My foster mom isn’t sure how old I am, but she thinks I may be around 9-year-old. My previous family let me wander the streets until one day animal control picked me up and then my previous family decided they didn’t want me anymore. SBR came to my rescue, busted me out of animal control and found a safe, loving home for me. It turns out, I am heartworm positive so I’m being treated to get rid of these yucky worms inside my heart. I also have bad allergies and I get regular injections to help me with that too. My foster mom feeds me a special salmon and sweet potato food, YUM! Oh, and I have bad ears that are always getting infected. My foster mom doesn’t mind all my ailments because she just thinks I’m just the sweetest boy ever. She says I can be sort of quiet and unassuming until I just have a lot to say! My foster mom has fallen in love with me, and I am what they call in the rescue business a “foster fail”. I know it doesn’t sound positive, but it is a really good thing because it means I have found my forever family!
