My Story
Are you a dog whisper? A Cesar Milan type? If so, read on … I’m Coco and I’m in need of a person just like you.
I’m very teachable and lovable, but I have a bit of a Napoleon Complex- meaning I have domineering social behavior. At 7 years of age, female, and weighing in at only 37 pounds, I will try to dominate the other dogs and humans in the household. I need a household that will be consistent, fair, and patient with me. If I can find a family to provide these things, I can be a very loyal, loving companion and family member.
Just a little secret about me- I love my people and try to keep them all to myself. The good news is that I’m learning to share my people with my other basset foster siblings.
Daily walks and exercise are an important part of my routine. I’m up to date on all my vaccines, heart worm free, housebroken, and spayed. Presently, I’m living compatibly with other dogs but I would do great as the only dog in the family. I’m not too enamored with toys, but I do have a strong hunting drive. I sit at the back door at night watching for rabbits.
My foster family is very fond of me. I’m a work in progress, but if you believe in me and guide me, I could be your best friend.
