My Story

My name is Coco and I’m a 7-year-old female basset mix but I’m not sure what I’m mixed with except pure sweetness.  I was a stray on the streets and wound up in the Santa Rosa County Animal Shelter before Suncoast Basset Rescue took me in as a foster.  I’m so happy about that because despite my beautiful brindle and white colored coat, I have a bunch of skin issues and my foster mom is giving me baths all the time and they are helping me feel so much better!  She’s got to apply some ointment on me also, I don’t mind though because I love the attention.  Mom says I’m skinny too and could stand to put on some weight.  I also love playing with my 3-year-old foster sister & when I wear her out I like to play with my toys.  My foster mom says I’m very well behaved and the sweetest little girl.
