My Story
Hi my name is DC! That’s short for Dairy Cow. Once you meet me you’ll understand… I’ve had a pretty rough time this year since my first family and the only family that I really knew, relinquished me because they were moving and wanted to travel. I’m 9 years old, neutered and up to date on all of my vaccinations too. It takes me a little while to get used to new places and people but once you prove that you’re here to take care of me, I will be endlessly grateful. I warm up to women a little quicker than I do men. I’m used to being around a lot of different animals but it still stresses me out a little bit. I’d prefer to be in a quieter home where there’s not a lot of people or children coming and going. The way to my heart is through treats and belly rubs! I love spending time outside and going on walks in a quiet neighborhood. I also love playing fetch with fluffy toys and (luckily) I’m too lazy to destroy them. I’m too big to jump up on furniture or counter surf and I’ll be happy with a nice comfy bed where I can see my favorite human. Most people who meet me describe me as a sweet goofy boy who is looking for a lot of love. My foster family is currently working on my confinement anxiety and slowly retraining crate with me! I do great home by myself as long as I’m able to free roam in the house. Are you the one who will give me the love that I need? If so please fill out an adoption application for me, DC.
