My Story

Elliot has been with Suncoast since April 15, 2022. He was living with a family in Miami that lived in a high-rise condo. They have 2 very small children and the mom worked 2 jobs. They had very little time for Elliot and he got very little time outside. When they took him outside, he only had 5 minutes to do his business and that was it, he also hadn’t been to the vet in 2 years. Elliot is 13 years old and has urinary stones. He will remain on a urinary prescription diet, which Suncoast sends to his foster dad on a regular basis. Elliot has bad hind end arthritis, and he walks or runs by bunny hopping, in addition, he has issues with sphincter control. This issue with sphincter control causes him to leave little poops all over the house. Elliot takes Carprofen for pain daily and Suncoast provides his medicine as well. Elliot will be cared for and loved by his foster Dad’s for the rest of his days & now enjoys as much time as he wants sniffing and roaming in the back yard.
