My Story
Hi! My name is Foxy. I am 3.5 years old. My foster pawrents think that I might be a bagel. That’s just means I have all the best characteristics of both a basset and a beagel. I bark like a beagle but I act like a basset. I am a very sweet and affectionate girl and love to get lots of attention. I like to play, I’m good with people & kids, and love to get belly rubs and ear rubs. I can be laid back and want to snuggle with you too. I am a smart girl who knows how to sit, shake and stay. I’m also really good at solving puzzle toys! I am house trained, crate trained and leash trained. Just know that I am a hound so my nose is on the ground most of the time but I do listen when I am being redirected. I don’t mind being alone for a couple of hours but I will attack you with slobbery kisses when you come home. On another note, I am very unsure about cats. I bark at them when I see them and don’t like when they get too close to me. I am a protective girl and will bark when people get too close to the car and the house. I am also very protective over my food, toys, and chews from other dogs but I happily share with humans! I am spayed, have had all my vaccinations and I’m on heartworm preventative. I do have allergies and get itchy frequently and my veterinarian has me on Apoquel and that helps me stay comfortable. Overall, I am in great health! I’m ready to be adopted by my forever family.
