My Story
Fred is a handsome and sweet boy, who has a belly full of freckles! Fred’s idea of bliss is an afternoon on the deck, a soft bed & blanket, and a nice car ride or walk. He’s a comedian, and always ready for a game of tug and playing with his toys. Fred walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks and meet new people. He is a little upset when you leave, but quickly settles and waits patiently for your return.. He’s very laid back and would be happy to lie on the couch and watch your favorite movie or sporting event with you. He might even cheer for your team!
Fred might love his own toys and bed a little too much and needs someone who can help him learn that possessions are fleeting, especially if he lives in a multi-dog household. His foster parents are making strides, and he will continue to improve with an experienced and patient person who is willing to train Fred to trust and share his possessions.
Fred is great with cats and would do well with a feline family. He gets along well with other dogs. He doesn’t have to be in charge, but also doesn’t like to be pushed around. He would do well with easy going dogs….
Fred would do well with owners who are around a lot, or have a cat or dog to keep him company. Fred takes his time to get to know people, but warms up quickly to those he trusts and his loving, playful side emerges.
