My Story

 Hi, my name is Milo. I’m a 9-year-old basset hound mix. My life has had a few bumps in the road. I was found as a stray on the streets of Tampa and taken to the shelter there. I was adopted from the shelter by a young couple who after only 5 months, decided to give me up to Suncoast Basset Rescue because they were going to travel and have a baby. My foster mom says I’m a sweet ole’ man with a number of health issues, including liver disease, horrible spondylosis and I’m also deaf.  However, I am now in a good place now because Suncoast Basset Rescue and my foster mom take really good care of me, and I will continue to stay in my foster home because of all my medical issues.
