My Story

Tito came into the care of Suncoast Basset Rescue when unfortunately, his owner passed away.  Tito and his sister, Lizzie, were a beautiful, bonded pair until most recently when last year Lizzie passed away due to mouth cancer.  Tito has suffered from multiple tumors, one of which almost had his tail amputated.  With the love and care of the medical staff that works with Suncoast Basset Rescue, Tito’s tumors on his side and tail were safely removed.  Tito does suffer from deafness, some dental issues and more recently some tremors.  In his senior age, Tito loves to sleep in the sun, stroll around the yard and go for car rides.  Tito is still undergoing observations for the tremors he has been having to make sure that they are not serious, so he is not medically cleared yet.  Please check back for updates on Tito.
